If you're not eating cabbage salad most days of the week during winter, you should sit down and have a serious talk with yourself.
The trick to amazing cabbage salad is simple -- slice it thin. Grate in some carrots or daikon. A little red onion, maybe. You can go in a yogurt dressing direction, or in a toasted seeds direction. Those don't even need to be two different directions.
Small: 2-3 pounds.
Medium: 3-4 pounds.
Large: 4-5 pounds.
If we run out of small cabbage, you may get a big one cut in half.
